Together, we celebrated solidarity in the social studies profession at the 101st NCSS Annual Conference, advocated for more robust teaching of social studies when our students needed it most, and helped students through another year of COVID-19.    We are excited to continue our service to social studies educators in 2022. We cannot wait to celebrate our 100th year of service with you at the 100th Anniversary Celebration. If you already applied prior to the previous October 2021 deadline, you do not need to resubmit. See the open award categories and submit a nomination today!   We Need Your Feedback Help inform our wider social studies community on the leadership, service, and support it can provide in the future to all educators by taking 15 minutes to complete this survey by January 7, 2022.   Vote in the Board of Directors and Officer Elections The NCSS Board of Directors has approved the slate of candidates for the 2021-2022 Board of Directors and Officer elections. The election ballot will close January 15, 2022.
