Earlier this year, as I picked up my seven-year-old son from school, we discussed the normal parent questions about the day - "How was today? Did you have fun? What did you learn?" NCSS Signs Letter Urging Funding for ESSA Act
As a member of the COVID-19 Education Coalition, NCSS signed-on to a letter from the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) which urges members of Congress to fully fund Title II-A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). These funds support states and districts in providing professional development for educators. Read the letter.
TRSE Receives 2019 Impact Factor
Last year, Theory & Research in Social Education was selected for inclusion in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), which made it eligible for an official impact factor.
Taylor & Francis has informed the staff of Theory and Research in Social Education that the 2019 Impact Factor was 2.351, putting the journal in the top quartile of journals in the field. Please join us in congratulating them!
