NCSS Announces Conference Speaker Lineup
This year's Virtual Conference has dozens of renowned speakers for you to enjoy. Chelsea Clinton joins us for a special session on Friday, December 4, 2020 with additional keynote speakers including Ken Burns, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Ken Burns and Chuck Todd.
Chelsea Clinton serves as Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, working alongside the foundation’s leadership and partners to help create economic opportunity, improve public health, and inspire civic engagement and service across the United States and around the world.
Ken Burnshas been making documentary films for over forty years. Since the Academy Award nominated Brooklyn Bridge in 1981, Ken has gone on to direct and produce some of the most acclaimed historical documentaries ever made, including The Civil War;Baseball;Jazz;The War;The National Parks: America’s Best Idea;The Roosevelts: An Intimate History; Jackie Robinson; The Vietnam War; and Country Music.
Nikole Hannah-Jones was named a MacArthur Genius for “reshaping national conversations around education reform.” Most recently, she spearheaded The New York Times Magazine’s “The 1619 Project” on the history and lasting legacy of American slavery Her powerful introductory essay was awarded the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for commentary.
Chuck Todd, NBC News political director and moderator of “Meet the Press,” leads the network’s premier political coverage, offering his sharp analysis and translation of Beltway politics across all platforms—zeroing in on what really matters in Washington and why.
