Read more.   Hedrick Smith's New Documentary The Democracy Rebellion to Air on PBS Hedrick Smith is a Pulitzer Prize-winning former New York Times reporter and editor. His newest work is “The Democracy Rebellion,” a one-hour PBS documentary showing how grassroots citizen movements are winning victories for political reform, state by state. The documentary is set to air on January 6, 2020.
