NAMLE 2023 State of Media Literacy Survey
In support of the National Association of Media Literacy Education (NAMLE), we are asking you to take 15 minutes to complete their 2023 State of Media Literacy Survey. The goal is to survey as many educators as possible about their media literacy practice, including the materials you use, the topics you teach, and the challenges you face. Your personal information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of NAMLE’s research team. The full letter from NAMLE can be found here.
Submit A Nomination For the Everyday Champion Award
As an Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA) Partner, NCSS is pleased to share this awards opportunity. The annual Everyday Champion Award is presented by the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) in honor of educators and administrators who actively champion learning accessibility. Nominations can be made by any student, parent, teacher, community member, administrator, or themselves. Submit your application here by August 28, 2023.
Reminder: Call for Resolutions
National Council for the Social Studies is currently accepting proposed resolutions for the 67th House of Delegates Assembly, to be held at the 2023 NCSS Annual Conference in Nashville. The deadline for submitting resolutions is August 31, 2023.
