American Civic Education Teacher Awards
Conducted by the Center for Civic Education, the Center on Representative Government at Indiana University, and the National Education Association, the American Civic Education Teacher Awards honor teachers who have expertise in teaching about the Constitution, Congress & public policy. Apply here by May 1, 2024.
Democracy in Dialogue Virtual Exchange Program
The Smithsonian Institution invites professional and informal educators from any discipline who work with students age 13-18 to apply to serve as Virtual Exchange Facilitators. Facilitators will receive a stipend of $1,500 as well as CEU credits issued by the Smithsonian, and attend a 5-day training in Washington, D.C. All travel expenses will be covered. Submit a letter of interest and CV to OUSE-Rural-Initiatives@si.edu by April 29, 2024. More information can be found here.
