The Call for Proposals is Open!
The Call for Proposals is now open for the 104th NCSS Annual Conference, which will be held in Boston, Massachusetts from Friday-Sunday, November 22-24, 2024 with the theme: Many Voices, Many Stories, One World. Submit a proposal or become a proposal reviewer today.
New Episode: Visions of Education
In episode 194, Dan and Michael chat with 2023 NCSS Exemplary Research in Social Studies Award winner Brittany Jones about her study published in Theory & Research in Social Education, “Feeling fear as power and oppression: An examination of Black and white fear in Virginia’s US history standards and curriculum framework.”
Social studies, history, and English/language arts teachers for grades 4–12 are encouraged to apply. Educators of other subjects or grades may be considered if space is available. Information can be found here.
