This workshop/seminar will engage NCSS members in a consideration of their own personal ethical framework and moral principles as we seek feedback and perspectives to revise existing frameworks for applicable use in teacher education programs, practicing teachers and public understanding. Participants can expect to critically examine and clarify their ethical reasoning, arguments, and perspectives that underlie their educational vision and practice as we all work to produce a statement of ethics that aligns with the purpose and intent of 21st-century social studies education.
