Each year on May 1, the United States recognizes Law Day to reflect the role of law in the foundation of our country and to recognize its importance for our society. Law Day’s 2020 theme is “Your Vote, Your Voice, Our Democracy: The 19th Amendment at 100.” The theme celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment. Commemorate this historic moment by teaching your students about the importance of the 19th Amendment and Law Day with resources and lesson plans included in this edition!
